Gujarat Poshan Sudha Yojana Online Registration 2025 - The Gujarat government is running various types of schemes for the women of the state from time to time. Meanwhile, a new scheme for pregnant women has been launched because pregnancy and breastfeeding is an important phase in the life of women. Women need extra nutrition for the fetus during pregnancy and for breastfeeding the baby during breastfeeding.
To meet the special nutritional needs of women, the Gujarat government launched the Poshan Sudha scheme on a pilot basis during the financial year 2017-18. The pilot project of Poshan Sudha Yojana was launched in 10 blocks of five districts having high tribal population namely Dahod, Valsad, Mahisagar, Chhota Udaipur and Narmada.

As we all know that pregnancy and breastfeeding are very important stages in the life of women. During this time, mothers need more nutrition for fetal development and breastfeeding. That is why the Government of Gujarat has launched Gujarat Poshan Sudha Yojana 2025 with the aim of reducing malnutrition and micronutrient deficiencies and improving the nutritional status and pregnancy outcomes of all pregnant and lactating mothers.
In this program, pregnant and lactating women are provided with one-time full meal and IFA and calcium tablets. Keeping in view the positive impact and results of the pilot scheme, approval has been given to expand the scope of the scheme to cover all 14 tribal districts (Blocks - 106, Anganwadi Centers - 13894) from the financial year 2022-23. Rs 118 crore has been set aside for Poshan Sudha Yojana for the financial year 2022-23. About 1.36 lakh beneficiaries are expected to be covered every month.

- Under Gujarat Poshan Sudha Yojana, beneficiary women will get one-time full meal and IFA and calcium tablets.
- A mobile application has been developed for monitoring and review of Poshan Sudha Yojana.
